I am originally from Denver, Colorado. While working on a BFA in Illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design, I became interested in archaeology and sought work as an archaeological illustrator. Building on this, I pursued an MA in Architecture at UCLA where I focused on using 3D animation technology to reconstruct historic sites. After several years of working in this field, I began taking on traditional graphic design work in the Los Angeles area. I eventually returned to Denver and joined the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History as an exhibit graphic designer and illustrator. I have since relocated to Weston, Connecticut, but maintain my position for the CUMNH in a remote capacity. In addition to this work, I provide illustration and graphic design support for a variety of freelance clients including the Denver Field Ornithologists, Columbia University in collaboration with the American Museum of Natural History, and the televised robot fighting competition Battlebots.
